What is SIRE
SIRE is SUNAT's Integrated Electronic Records System: it forces taxpayers to keep electronic books for VAT (purchases / sales) instead of paper. Adoption is mandatory from January 2026 for all SMBs.
Why SMBs already on Odoo should care
If you're using Odoo with the
l10n_pe
localization, the heavy lifting is done. But there are 3 things you must validate before January:
- Your XML format complies with SUNAT's 2026 spec (not 2024)
